White cats with blue eyes breed. Blue eyed cats can appear in both males and females cats but most commonly it appears in white cats. The Siamese has a lean graceful build with long legs and tails. This is an inherited genetic condition and theres no way of knowing whether a kitten will be affected until they grow a little older.

So what cat breeds have blue eyes. Unlike other white cats blue-eyed white cats have slightly different genetics. Solid white cats with blue eyes are often deaf but their eyesight is completely normal.

The Selkirk Rex is a cat breed from the United States first developed in 1988. Their iconic blue fur and copper eyes earn them a spot as a top blue cat breed. Because the eyes of British shorthair cats can develop into many colors blue eyes are not their main characteristics and they are not included in the blue-eyed cat breeds.

However its eyes are always an unusually deep shade of blue despite not having pointed or solid white coloring. However other cats have an extra gene that blocks the furs color so they have white coats and blue eyes. Can come in small to medium size.
